How to get patients ready if I need a report?

No athletic clothing (yoga pants), or hair clips on patients on the scan day.

If the patient has claustrophobia, sedation is up to the PI to prescribe, and the patient should bring it with him/her on the scan day.

Complete all the paperwork in the “paperwork” tab.

Pre-registration for the patient is required 48 hours before the scan time.

Check in on the scan day: escort the patient to the Radiology registration or call registration one hour before the scan time to check in. After checking in, escort the patient half an hour before the scan time to the scanner.

When you are in the waiting area of MRI Service Center, call/text MRI techs.

If there is a problem, contact the MRI technicians
